We just had the most incredible stay at Sevletunet! We stayed in the main house which was so cozy and welcoming. Our host Gro made us feel like family-cooked us a fabulous breakfast and then took the time to give us a tour of the historical buildings on the property...fascinating! Favorite part of our stay in Norway!

Superb - loved this property. We stayed two nights. Gro made us feel so welcome. The history of this property is unparalleled. If Gro has time, make sure you ask her about the history. Such a beautiful area of Norway. When we go back to the area we will be staying for longer.

Wonderful old farm houses, owner gave a guided tour of them. Numedal is an interesting traditional culture area. Relaxing evening on the porch with swallows flying around.

This summer we spent a week in Sevletunet, about 5km south of Rodberg. The former farm itself is very pictoresque - lots of old buildings and antiques, back to medivial times. The varoius rooms and houses are tastefully arranged between comfortable to rustic. Good place to stay for outings to Hardangervidda, for fishing and hiking. We did some hikes towards the lakeridden areas both sides of the valley: Hallandsfjellet, Hagerfjellet and region Stornatten. In the latter our host, Gro, owns 8 lakes - excellent troutfishing with bags up to 10+. Our host, Gro, contributed very much to a satisfying stay: always helpful, very hospitable and forthcoming. We enjoyed some very interesting talks about region, and life in Norway in general.Again: lots of thanks.
