A CULTURAL STAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE OF NORWAY

Welcome to a two-night stay with local cuisine and storytelling about life in the upper part of one of Norway’s five valleys. We will tell you the stories about our ancestors lives on this farm and the famous and dramatic story about “The Sevle boy” - one of the last Norwegians to be beha.

Nedre Sevle is one of the oldest family farms in this area, with charming timber houses from 1632, 1640 and 1850. Rest your gaze on rare architecture, while you enjoy home cooked meals and the country-side bliss.

THE SEVLE BOY

Ole Sevle, was the firstborn among the siblings and the owner of the farm back in the days. Ole was known for his dancing skills and his way with the ladies, had lots of responsibilities and many mouths to feed. He was also one of the last persons in Norway to be beheaded, only 28 years old. During the stay we will tell you about his dramatic and destined life.
