Workdays will be varied, taking place both outdoors and indoors. During the summer season, and before a larger group checks in, the pace is naturally a bit faster and there’s more to do.

We make sure to include days for rest and recovery between the busier periods. On these days, you are welcome to explore the area, and we are happy to take you along on local nature and cultural experiences.

Opportunities to join in fishing and hunting are also available.

You will live with 2–4 others in a cabin with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and four bedrooms/beds.

In the cabin, you will prepare your own breakfast, lunch, and evening meals during the week. Dinners are served in the main house. During busier periods, you will need to take care of your own dinners.

When larger groups check in at the farm, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a cabin stay in the mountains, 30 minutes from the farm, with fishing and hiking.

Occasional use of the mountain cabin with fishing in several mountain lakes and/or additional pay can be arranged by agreement.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and enjoys the peaceful, simple life on an old family farm tucked away at the top of a quiet valley.

You’ll thrive in meditative, hands-on service tasks such as cleaning rooms, making beds, serving meals, washing dishes, and helping prepare food.

You enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, and are ready to pitch in wherever needed.

You are responsible, communicative, and enjoy working with people, with a good understanding of English and the ability to communicate clearly.
