Extremely picturesque location with ancient buildings and modern bathrooms. We could use the BBQ hut and the beautiful garden. The stories the landlady told were very thrilling. One of the best location on our Trip with 6 motorbikes!

We only stayed at Sevletunet for 1 night due to our travel arrangements, but we wish it could've been more. This place has so much charm. Our bedroom in the main house was clean, spacious and cosy. We were greeted by the 2 hosts Margun and Gro who made us feel instantly welcome and at home, served up very nice typical Norwegian foods, prepared the sauna and shared the stories of Sevletunet. I hope we can come back in the future.

Really great place to spend a night or two in authentic buildings. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The stay includes a "storytelling" during breakfast about the history of the location that dates back to 1632 and has been owned by the family since 1830's. And a tour in and around the old buildings. The enthusiasm of the owners is inspiring. Oh, and the sauna is also really good!!

Charm, culture and storytelling at its best. As a family of 4 with small children, we were overwhelmed with our few days stay with Gro, Margun and Bastian. The rooms were comfortable and we lacked nothing of importance. The surrounding area was full with history and you needn’t leave the property to Experience a taste of 1800’s (and in some cases Medieval) Norway. Thank you for the wonderful stay in such a special place.

Reception was very friendly by the hostess. The property is run by mother and daughter. They do everything they can to make you feel better. Dinner was delicious with traditional Norwegian dishes served in the large dining room. Breakfast was fine. Rooms beautifully decorated with historic furniture. The area is beautiful. After breakfast the hostess told the history of the former farm and we got a tour of the historic buildings on site.

Schönes, geräumiges, ansprechendes Zimmer im alten Bauernhaus, Badezimmer eher zweckmäßig, aber sauber und ok. Tolles historisches Speisezimmer. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und wurden trotzdem abends bekocht. Frühstück auch super. Es gab danach noch Geschichten von Haus , Hof und Familie sowie die Besichtigung eines sehenswerten historischen Lagerschuppens.
