Morning coffee and herbal infusion on the storehouse steps, a soft landing in the gentle embrace of the cultural landscape — and countryside peacefulness.

The farm offers two distinct venues. Our largest space, Nordsalen, is 90 square metres. Our smallest, Treskelåven, is 60 square metres.

NORDSALEN

Our largest venue is rustic and warm. Two double doors open out onto the expansive green courtyard.

TRESKELÅVEN

Our smallest venue is housed in a converted 18th-century log barn, complete with a fireplace.

The main house, dating from 1850, is the heart of the farm. Here you will share your meals together around the old farmhouse table, in the glow of an open fire. In this very room, earlier generations once prepared their food over the flames.

Accommodation is spread across five buildings on the farm, with nine bathrooms and freshly made beds awaiting you.

  • Sevletunet is located halfway between Kongsberg and Geilo — and midway between Oslo Airport and Bergen.

    The drive from Oslo takes approximately 2.5 hours (170 kilometres). The drive from Bergen takes approximately 5 hours (312 kilometres).

  • Sevletunet welcomes one group at a time, with a minimum of 10 participants. Minimum stay is two nights.

    Accommodation is spread across five of the farm's buildings, with a total of nine bathrooms with shower and WC.

    Standard capacity:

    • Summer season: up to 24 participants

    • Winter season: up to 18 participants

    During the summer months, total capacity can reach up to 30 people, including tent pitches.

    Room types:

    • 6 twin rooms with shared bathrooms

    • 2 triple rooms with private or shared bathroom

    • 1 studio apartment for 3–5 people with private bathroom

    • 4–6 tent pitches with access to shared bathroom

    • Private unit with private bathroom for course leaders/facilitators

    Detailed capacity:

    • September–May: 18 people in twin and triple rooms, including two course leaders

    • Summer months: 22–24 people in twin and triple rooms, including two course leaders

    • Summer season: 10 single rooms and up to 6 tent pitches

  • We typically serve one set menu per group, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    The first meal is dinner on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we serve breakfast and lunch.

    Approximate meal times:

    • Breakfast: 09:00–10:00 or 09:30–10:30

    • Lunch: 12:30–13:30

    • Dinner: 18:00–19:00

    Meal times are adapted to the programme and confirmed with the facilitators upon booking.

  • Your stay includes:

    • Three meals per day

    • Bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning

    • Two venues at your disposal

    • Wood-fired sauna with towels available

    • Circular fire pit lodge on the farm grounds

    You will have the entire farm to yourselves for the duration of your stay.

  • For participants

    We recommend valid travel insurance, which typically covers costs related to sudden illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

    Cancellation policy:

    • More than 90 days before: 90% refund

    • 22–89 days before: 50% refund

    • Less than 21 days before: no refund

    • No-show: no refund

    For facilitators

    A minimum of 10 participants is required per retreat. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of NOK 5,000.

    Cancellation policy:

    • More than 90 days before: full deposit refunded

    • 60–89 days before: 50% of deposit refunded

    • 30–59 days before: 25% of deposit refunded

    • Less than 30 days before: no refund

  • Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Course leaders and facilitators are welcome to arrive a little earlier if needed.

    Check-out is by 11:00 on the day of departure.

The landscape surrounding the farm is lush and deeply rural. The wooded hillsides offer forest roads, walking trails and small lakes for swimming. The farm sits right beside the fjord and the river, just four kilometres from the nearest village centre.
